An escape
Some rare summers are nicer than the others
when the extended family comes together from far ends;
ends of maps, age, ideologies, beliefs, intellect and personalities.
Some rare summers, are an escape.
An escape form our daily roofs, chores, meals, thoughts, quarrels and our daily selves.
An escape, that brings back faith in the idea of a family.
An escape that allows to reimagine ourselves and to look at the possibilities of living together and not hurt each other.
Some rare escapes, give us hope.
I wish there be more such escapes to every unit that identifies itself as a family.
I wish there be more dialogue and space, to reintroduce & listen to constantly evolving individuals who make any unit, a family.
I wish there be more nicer summers.
